Ideas for the future
The next three paragraphs are a grumpy old man’s rant. You can safely skip them.
I’m not happy about the state of today’s technology. This is a sentence that every not-so-young-anymore person has said more than once. I work as a systems administrator. I fell in love with computers when I was a kid and have been studying and/or working with computers since that moment. But I’m not having fun with it anymore.

I’ve remade this site because I plan frequent updates and I want it to conform to the Smolweb principles. This is the first version, using HUGO with the theme https://codeberg.org/smolweb/hugo-smolweb. Ideally, at some point in the future, I will customize the CSS theme.

This post is a review of my first 6 months using OpenBSD. There’s nothing technical here, just the impressions it has caused me.
What I’ve been using until now
I’ve been using GNU/Linux since the mid 90’s and it has been my main operating system at home since I suffered Windows ME. I’ve used Slackware, Debian, Mandriva/Mandrake, SUSE, Red Hat, Ubuntu, Gentoo, Sorcerer, Arch and other distributions I can’t remember. I love GNU/Linux, but there’s always something that makes me try yet another distribution. And it may be just me growing old, but I haven’t fully understood recent changes such as systemd.
